Terms and Conditions

d.MBA® ("d.MBA", "us" or "we") offers a service of online business education ("Services" or "d.MBA Program"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms and Conditions" or "Terms") govern your use of our website http://d.mba ("Site") and Services.

Before you apply for the d.MBA Program or start using the Site you are required to read, understand and agree to these Terms. By accessing the site, viewing any content, or using any services available on the Site you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms, which together with our Privacy Policy, governs our relationship with you. These Terms are also a legal agreement between d.MBA and participant whose application to d.MBA Program has been approved and confirmed by d.MBA, setting out rights and obligations of students as participants in the d.MBA Program ("Student" or "Participant")

d.MBA Program ("Services") is a 6-week online business educational program made specifically for designers. d.MBA Program is held twice in a calendar year and has a limited capacity of 50 participants per cohort.

Application

You can express your interest to join the program by filling out the form on the website. Please note that the application form is only available for a limited time before the start of the d.MBA Program. The exact opening for each new program is published on the Program's website.

You will get a confirmation mail of receipt of your application together with a copy of the submitted information. If the copy of the submitted information is incorrect or the provided information has changed in the meantime, please provide us with the correct information.

Afterward, we will evaluate and review your application. After the completed review of your application, we will invite you for a short 20-minute call to learn more about you.

At the end of the review process of the application, we will notify you whether we have decided to accept you in the d.MBA Program or not.

We will send you our confirmation of application (admission offer) with the invite to confirm the entry into the d.MBA Program together with the details on the price ("Tuition Fee"), start of the d.MBA Program, deadlines, and tools to be used in the program.

The full Tuition Fee is 3.480,00 EUR. You are entitled to an early Tuition Fee of 2.980,00 EUR if you fill out the form during early application windows as presented on the website. You are entitled to an alumni Tuition Fee of 2.880,00 EUR if you are recommended by an Alumni Student and have applied through the corresponding application form (“Exclusive Alumni Application”).

Your confirmation of entry into the d.MBA Program constitutes the conclusion of Agreement based on these Terms between you as a participant in the d.MBA Program and d.MBA ("Agreement"). The term of the Agreement is for the duration of the d.MBA Program. The agreement is stored on d.MBA servers and is available to Students upon written request sent to hello@d.mba.

Payment Methods

We only accept payments by credit card. If you are reimbursed for the d.MBA Program, we kindly ask that you pay the tuition fee by credit card and bill it to your employer or your employer can pay for you using a corporate credit card.

Payment Policy

After you have been offered a place in the d.MBA cohort, you have 10 days to settle the tuition fee.

In case you have been offered a place in the d.MBA cohort 14 days or less before the Program starts, you have 2-6 days to settle the tuition fee. The exact payment terms will be communicated in the admission offer.

If you want to pay the tuition fee in installments, you can pay the tuition fee in 3 installments. The first installment of 1170 € (or 1000 € for early applicants and 970 € for alumni applicants) is due 10 days after the admission offer. The second installment of 1170 € (or 1000 € for early applicants and 970 € for alumni applicants) is due 10 days before the d.MBA Program starts. The last installment of 1170 € (or 1000 € for early applicants and 970 € for alumni applicants) is due 10 days before the end of the d.MBA Program.

Refund Policy

Due to the nature of the Services (supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium), you are not entitled to withdraw from the Agreement in the cooling period of 14 days. Together with your confirmation of an admission offer, you also provide explicit consent and acknowledgment that you thereby lose your right to withdrawal in the cooling-off period.

However, we all know that life happens, and plans change. That is why we have a postponement and refund policy. Therefore, you have two options.

  • If you cancel your enrollment 31 days before the d.MBA Program starts, you will receive a full refund (minus admin fees 250€) of your tuition in 14 days after we receive your cancelation.

  • If you cancel your enrollment 30 days or less before the d.MBA Program starts, you will not be entitled to a refund, but you may postpone your participation according to the postponement policy.

We only accept payments by credit card. If you are reimbursed for the d.MBA Program, we kindly ask that you pay the tuition fee by credit card and bill it to your employer or your employer can pay for you using a corporate credit card.

Postponement Policy

You can postpone your participation until 21 days before the d.MBA Program starts. And you can postpone your participation only once - to the next upcoming intake.

Since the d.MBA Program has limited places, your place is reserved just for you. We do not overbook cohorts. Therefore, we, unfortunately, do not offer postponements less than 21 days before the start or during the d.MBA Program. If you are unable to join the cohort, you will receive access to all course materials, but you will not be a part of the d.MBA cohort, the alumni community and will not receive a certificate of completion.

Expulsion Policy

Since the d.MBA Program is based on intimate cohorts, each student has certain obligations. When you join the d.MBA Program, you commit yourself to contribute to the culture and to submit your work and feedback in due time.

This ensures that all students move together through the d.MBA Program and that you can participate in student activities and get the most out of the learning experience.

According to the wildcard rule, you can only be late twice for mandatory student activities (core calls, assignments, peer feedback), but all your assignments must still be submitted until the last day of the program for successful completion. When you are late with assignment submissions, you lose the right to peer feedback. Of course, we will help you complete the program by providing you a calendar with all deadlines and reminders along the way. It is not our goal to expel someone from the d.MBA Program, but rather to create an environment with clear expectations that lead to a better learning experience for a group.

If you are late for mandatory student activities (listed above) three times, you will be asked to withdraw from the d.MBA Program. You will lose access to the cohort Slack and the alumni community, as well as the certificate of completion. However, you will still have access to all course materials (without lifetime updates) so that you can continue to study individually.

Dispute Resolution

We firmly believe that the ability to dialog about disagreements is a skill that is very close to the core of the d.MBA. If we both believe that we cannot resolve a dispute through dialog, then you agree that the Slovenian courts alone are competent to resolve disputes.

Pursuant to EU directive 2013/11/EU d.MBA does not recognize any ADR institution of out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes as competent for resolving the consumer disputes which the participant could initiate in accordance with the EU legislation. d.MBA as a provider of online services posts the link to the EU platform for online dispute resolution.

Sharing Policy

During the d.MBA Program you will work on the content we have prepared. As a student, you are not required to discuss your work, disclose client details or anything else that might be confidential. However, do not hesitate to share your work challenges with us at a level where you feel comfortable knowing you will be working with other students in a non-NDA environment.

Please note that all the materials and information provided by the d.MBA to the participant and all the information provided by the participant during the d.MBA Program is classified as confidential information under condition that material and information have or could have market or financial or economic value or any other value in the business activity of d.MBA (mentors included) or participant ("confidential information").

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@d.mba.

Liability Policy

d.MBA is liable for the material defects of the d.MBA Program which the d.MBA Program had at the actual start of the program. Material defect is in case the d.MBA Program does not:

  • have the properties necessary for its normal use; or

  • have the properties necessary for the special use for which the participant is buying the program, under condition that such special use was known to the d.MBA or should have been known to d.MBA beforehand; or
